Since there is a birth registration later for James, my suspicion is that this James may be the same person as Patrick for whom we have not been able to locate a registration. Buckley, James (I6455)

Terry Keating Smithwick was a very well respected widow of John Keating, MD. She raised her many children after her husband's untimely death and was a popular member of the Democratic party in New Milford. She was elected for several terms as Tax Collector for the town of New Milford. Late in life she married Henry Smithwick.  O'Neill, Theresa Marie (I460)

The 1828 Antrim tithes survey lists a John and James Getty in Benvardin Getty, Mary (I8225)

The 1901 census records her age as 66, which would be a 1836 birthday. But, a marriage in 1846 would have her only 11 years only, so I think the census may be incorrect. Bray, Bridget (I7714)

The 1920 US Census indicates that both Charles and Dora were in second marriages. Using this as a placeholder until we know Charles' first wife. Family F3188

The 1940 census lists two children -- Harry and Alice -- but there is no other record of these children, so I have elected not to include. Chandgie, Harry Charles (I6874)

The actual marriage was most likely in 1902-1903, but this was one done for civil registration. Family F692

The age is listed as 76 in the registration. I believe that to be incorrect given no other Johns nearby could to be a candidate for this. Gallivan, John (I11975)

The birth registration lists 4 Jun 1894, but most dates in other self-reported documents list 6 May 1894, so using that. Birth registrations were sometimes delayed. Reidy, James Joseph (I11826)

The birth registration lists no name and the censuses of 1901 and 1911 list Eillen Joyce and Evylin, respectively, but I'm going with Eileen Joyce as that is what she reported in passenger list 8 Sep 1928 arriving to New York. Law, Eileen Joyce (I11341)

The Brooklyn Daily Eagle - Jun 21, 1907 p2
John Smithwuck, a retired milkman and resident of Maspeth for 44 yrs, died at his home on Collins Ave today of appendicitis. Born in Ireland 64 yrs ago and came to this country 44 trs ago. Retired 10 yrs. Leaves a widow, Ellen, five daughters and three sons. Burial in St John's Cemetery.

Smithwick, John (I1779)

The Catholic parish register lists the name of the mother as Mary Downey and sponsor Patrick Downey, but I cannot find any other records with that surname in the parish. I'm inclined to believe this is a typo. Murray, Thomas (I8128)

The connections between the Grady and Deane families are confusing because two sisters each married a Standish. From
